This survey seeks out information regarding what you do in terms of diversity, culture, and inclusion in the three (3) classes that you most frequently teach on your campus. Such information will be ONLY used to inform the diversity mapping/analysis conducted by our firm. This survey has been created by Halualani & Associates for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in order to collect information regarding the degree to which diversity is incorporated in university curricula. Such information will be used to map out diversity-related courses at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the curricular mappings in the larger diversity mapping project.
This survey should only take about 20 to 25 minutes to complete.
This survey instrument was submitted to UNL’s Institutional Review
Board. It was decided that this project “does NOT require IRB approval
as it does not meet the definition of research.” IRB approval was also
NOT needed because this diversity mapping project is “considered a needs
assessment and will not be used to develop or contribute to
generalizable information outside of UNL.”
Your participation in this research is strictly
voluntary. Furthermore, your response (or decision not to respond) will
not affect your relationship with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
You have the option to leave any item blank if for some reason you do
not know the answer or choose not to answer it. Your responses will be
used for research purposes only and will be strictly confidential. There
are no demographic items related to your role and this is an open web
link and thus, your response cannot be traced.
We would appreciate your participation in this survey regarding diversity elements in the courses you teach.
